My name is Yolanda Ehrlich, I am a graduate of the Massage Center in Thousand Oaks, CA. and certified by the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC).
Massage Therapy has been so rewarding to me. When my clients leave with a sense of renewal, looking forward to the next session, I feel good to have assisted in their wellbeing. To the best of my ability I will design a Swedish Massage, also known as Relaxation Massage, to address your specific needs. Depending on your preference, the massage can be deep and vigorous or slow and gentle, allowing for the ultimate relaxation and health benefits.
Massage should not be considered a “luxury”, but an investment in your health and well-being. With our fast paced schedules, and the highly stressful world that we live in today, massage therapy is one of the best ways to relax both physically and mentally! |
My Scope of Practice:
I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. If you have a need for medical services, I suggest you contact a qualified healthcare professional prior to making an appointment for massage therapy.
I am certified in the following modalities:
Swedish Massage / Relaxation Massage
One of the most well-known massage techniques. This is a gentle form of massage that uses long gliding strokes, kneading, deep circular movements, vibration and tapping that will stimulate circulation and soothe sore muscles.
Trigger Point Therapy
This modality focuses on trigger points, or sensitive areas of tight muscle fibers that can form in your muscles after injuries or overuse.
Sports Massage
Sports massage is designed to enhance athletic performance and recovery. There are three contexts in which sports massage can be useful to an athlete: pre-event, post-event, and injury rehabilitation.
Hot Stone Therapy
Heated stones and oil are skillfully used in this massage to warm muscles. This relaxes muscles and increases blood flow to areas which accelerates healing. This modality applies Swedish massage techniques + hot stones. |
